Trying their luck for bagging the ?175 prize money are Westmead Melanie, Be Real, Westmead Diva, Airforce Roger, Dixies Air and Blackrose Bullet.

One of the most credible entries for the race is the two-year-old, Westmead Diva. She started racing in 2011 and went through two training sessions at the dawn of the current season. She failed to a sixth position in the seasonal debut and rolled up the sleeves for the second outing of the season.

She won as the joint favourite of the Grade A4 460 metres flat on 17th February, 2012 at Henlow over 460 metres. She was quick to race away and then did not delegate the lead to any other hound. The two-year-old went past the competition in 27.78 seconds and won by the margin of 2 ? lengths.

Settling the closest to the winner was, Kilkenny Rosie, who timed the track distance in 28.00 seconds.

The Nick Savva trained lost the next two races to third position, first at Henlow and then at Hove.

Westmead Diva won the March Maiden 550 Maiden Dup on 8th March, 2012 at Henlow over 550 metres. She paced up right after breaking from the first gate and then took charge of the track from the second spot, finishing the race in 33.74 seconds. Losing the race by a length was, Shimano Siren, who joined the winner on the other end in 33.82 seconds.

Coming at terms with the third position was, Pennys Toby.

Westmead Diver?s daughter missed the first hat-trick of the season by ending second on 29th June, 2012 at Romford over 575 metres. She lost the race by 1 ? length as the winner, Boxie, concluded the race in 35.50 seconds.

For a second time she suffered deprivation when ending fourth in the Bookmakers Midi on 23rd August, 2012 at Henlow over 550 metres. Blackrose Bullet won the race in 33.79 seconds and led by just a head?s margin.

The two-year-old out of, Westmead Oak, is expected to bounce back to form tonight.
