The well was drilled to 5,745 feet (1,751 meters) on June 13, 2012, and oil was discovered in the oil-bearing sands of the Murta Formation over the interval of 5,354 to 5,397 feet (1,632 to 1,645 meters) with an estimated net oil pay of 7 feet (2 meters).?

The well has been cased and suspended as a future oil producer.

Cuisiner-5 is the second of four wells that was drilled in the Barta Block.?

Cuisiner-6, the next well on schedule, is expected to be spud this weekend followed by an exploration well.

Cuisiner-6 is sited almost one mile (1,300 meters) from the Cuisiner-1 discovery well. Drilling of the well is scheduled to start on June 23, 2012, targeting a depth of 5,755 feet (1,754 meters).

Australia's Santos holds a 60 percent operating interest in ATP 752 B, while Canada's Bengal holds a 25 percent operating interest. Senex holds the remaining 15 percent operating interest.?
